Anyone for Joe Public tonight?

Joe Public beat the New England Revolution of the MSL 4-0 and 2-1. Tonight (8pm Eastern time) they play the Montreal Impact of the USL 1 League. If they can beat New England, certainly they can beat Montreal.

I'm taking Joe Public -0.5 +250.

I don't think the boys from Joe Public are happy about playing in Montreal... most (if not all) of them are rockin' the gloves. However, all is not lost.... they played fairly well in the last 15 minutes, and are by no means out of it.

I heard you made this as a 'novelty' bet?

I made it using what I felt was good reasoning so I didn't bet this on a lark. These guys beat New England twice and Montreal is in a lower league. If they can beat New England I felt they should be able to beat Montreal.

Montreal 2, Joe Public 0.

Okay - not a big deal that they lost if it was a play you would have 'really' been on, but if it was for action or b/c they're just your fav. team and you didn't explicitly state that, then I would be pissed.
